Ixos iPod Disco Cube Speaker System

For the money it is a very smart looking speaker system, the sound is great compared to the last speakers i had. However the only negative thing i have to say is that the cartridges that are provided for the different types of ipod ( mine being a new nano) didnt fit nicely into the speakers so my ipod has to stand by itself..which was a let down but all in all good speakers !

Recently bought these speakers for my ipod video and love them! Fits perfectly and the sound is loud and clear! Defnatley worth the money

We bought this for our sons Christmas present to go with his new iPod nano (widescreen version). Firstly the UK adaptor doesn't fit any UK standard size socket so you can't plug it in. Secondly, the cube comes with 4 different iPod cradles. The issue is that all the cradles are all exactly the same size and shape and they are all for the large full size iPod. The cradles do not fit any of the smaller iPod ranges, so be warned.

I don't know what the sound quality is like, but based on the thought that has gone into this product, I imagine it's equally as poor.

I will be returning it and buying the far superior JBL system.

I love my disco cube it's fab and the speakers are of a high quality. As for not working with the new ipod nanos they do fit in but you have to remove the little tray from the doc so that it can connect fully.

In my opinion you cannot fault these speakers, the sound is good and my ipod fits perfect and I think the lights look cool good to! I see some people said that the new ipod nano doesn't fit, but that is only because it is not made for them.
